How The Doctor Builds Your Treatment Plan

There is a certain structure to Chiropractic Treatment planning. The details within the structure will vary depending on your health condition, symptoms, and needs. During your initial visit, the doctor is gathering the necessary information to create a strategic treatment plan for your body-specific health.

One of the mistakes many chiropractors and patients make is not adhering to the structured plan for treatment. This is because following the initial treatments, patients will often feel pain relief relatively quickly. And this can make them feel like they have completed their need for care. When in reality, the symptom may have been relieved, but the core of what caused that symptom will likely to time to correct over multiple visits. Without following the plan, the patient will begin feeling the symptoms again over time.

Treatment Planning

The Treatment Plan Structure

Chiropractic care is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:

Day One

Consultation, Evaluation, & Diagnosis

When you come to us for your appointment, the first step will be to identify the issues you’re dealing with. Talk to us about your pain, discomfort, or any dysfunction that you’ve noticed. We’ll also take X-rays and perform a physical exam to make sure you’re able to receive certain treatments.

Once we know your state of health, we can discuss different treatments and options that are open to you.

PHASE 1

Relief Care

If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care two to three times per week for four to 12 weeks.

Phase 2

Corrective/ Restorative Care

During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care four to eight times per month for six to 24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.

Phase 3

Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor one to four times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.

Neck Pain Treatment

So far I have a great impression of this place. I already feel like the doctor is doing more to help me improve than the last chiropractor I was seeing - there it was the same thing every day. At Magnolia, the doctor is actually paying attention to the details and changing my treatment based on my needs, pain, and the location of said pain. They just opened and it may seem unassuming on the outside but this place it great.

Chiropractic Treatment

Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Dr. Le is very professional and caring.

Kevin T.

Back Pain Treatment

Dr. Kevin Le is a great chiropractor! Before my first visit, I was suffering from lower back pain and nerve damage in my toes due to my spinal discs having complications. Dr. Le explains the methods of treatment and how everything works inside and out. He is a very transparent chiropractor. The office is also very clean and sanitary.

Numbness / Pinched Nerve Treatment

My experience at Magnolia Comfort Medical has been nothing short of exceptional!

The facility is very clean and organized, the staff is super friendly and very helpful with all my questions, and Dr. Kevin Le is a very kind human being who goes above and beyond for his patient.

I came to Dr. Kevin Le with 2 herniated discs which caused a pinch nerve that led to numbness of my left limbs. After 2-3 treatments, my numbness slowly went away, and he also found another issue that my Orthopedics physician missed. I am beyond blessed to have Dr. Kevin Le treating my condition, and I would definitely recommend Magnolia Comfort Medical to all my friends and family.
